Bands 2026
ONRUST is a post-metal band from Antwerp (Belgium), creating a forward-driven, dark, yet defined wall of sound only to be interrupted with intimate clean parts.
They released their first full album 'De Oogst' in 2018, handling everything from songwriting over production and recording to artwork in a true DIY spirit. The album was well received and resulted in a good number of shows all over Belgium and the Netherlands.
They steadily built a strong live reputation in the underground scene (quoted as "Belgium's best kept post-metal secret"), leading them to play bigger stages like Antwerp Metal Fest and even the aftershow for Cult of Luna at Trix, Antwerp.
Early 2020 the band started working on their follow-up record. Focussing on the songwriting and production of that album, they played only a handful of shows to feel what works and to further finetune the songs that make the album.
'Van Woede tot Wanhoop' was released on the 17th of October 2025 on dunk!records and didn't leave an audience untouched. It's an explosive, tight live performance and perfect execution of clair-obscur, painting an image of bleakness and despair with just a hint of hope. ONRUST is back.

HEMELBESTORMER, a Dutch word which can be roughly translated as "Sky Stormer" or "Attacker of Heaven" and used to describe someone with revolutionary thoughts and ideas, is a Belgian four piece composed of dedicated veterans from the hardcore, doom and black metal scene.
Since 2012, their unique blend of instrumental post doom and various other genres has been visiting the furthest corners of the universe, passing black holes, nebulae and mysterious, blue ring-shaped galaxies and mesmerizing listeners all over the world. Always looking for balance between the light and the dark, the crushingly heavy and the eerily beautiful, Hemelbestormer's songs, both monolithic and multi-layered, captivate the vastness and enormity of space in all its aspects. They provide a trip that will melt your mind and alter your consciousness.
Following a fair share of supports, club shows and mini tours and many festivals highlights like Roadburn, Summer Breeze, Desertfest, Graspop Metal Meeting, Houses Of The Holy/Funkenflug, Void Fest, Dunk!Fest, Dome Of Rock, Alcatraz, Hell Over Hammaburg, Samhain Fest, Dark Bombastic Evening, Ieperfest, ArcTanGent, Soulcrusher, Into The Void, Lake On Fire and Hammer Of Doom, they are eager to make this list even longer!

The best word to describe Wolvennest's music: occult. Each live show is a transcending experience for their audience as well as their members. Far from the modern world, Wolvennest developed a following the ancient way, with strong trippy albums and solid live experiences evoking chaos, light and darkness. While the collective already performed at mythic festivals (Desertfest, Roadburn, Hellfest) and the very best of the occult locations (House of the Holy, Chaos Descend, Ascension), its appetite for trippy performances is stronger than ever. The 6 musicians are looking forward to their coming experiences with a new album full of weird synths, hypnotic guitars and strong emotions invoked through Shazzula's voice.
Wolvennest is back with a double LP: Procession. Those who follow the occult music scene will know what to expect: a strange blend of psych/doom with a touch of the darkness found in black metal. Massive guitars, synths/mellotrons, melancholic yet oppressive atmospheres, all wrapped in Shazzula's haunting vocals and theremin, lead a bizarre ceremony reflecting the consequences of a dark journey—one that ends in death and apocalypse. Procession also marks the first collaboration between Wolvennest and the Belgian label Consouling Sounds. Mostly self-recorded, and mixed/mastered by long-time producer Déhà at Blackout Studios, this fifth album features artwork by Arts of Maquenda, who also created the Temple artwork in 2020.
Speaking of tradition, as always, Wolvennest welcomes guest appearances—this time featuring Hekte Zaren, the enigmatic voice behind black metal's best-kept secret: Adaestuo.Sects, curses, death rituals, and psychotropics create an eerie atmosphere, showing that the band is ready for another decade of sonic exploration, enhanced in live performances by surreal projections.
Procession describes a world where the cross is inverted, and portals constantly open, granting access to the invisible realm and to one's other self.
